South Bay Summer Adventure #5: Redondo Beach Pier

Redondo Beach pier was the family funady spot when I was younger. We would ride our bikes along the strand, people watch, and what I remember most is the tasty crab!

Redondo Beach is the most relaxing of three South Beach Beaches. Have a fun day at the Redondo Beach Pier. Start off exploring the pier area, looking at the cute shops and then playing some old school carnival games at the Redondo Beach Arcade. Worked an appetite? Head over to Quality Seafood for some tasty seafood and a pitcher of beer, Quality Seafood has the option of cook to order which means you chose your seafood (crab, fish, lobster, etc) and they’ll clean it cook it for you. You can also order your favorite seafood dishes there from fish tacos, fish and chips to yummy ceviche and poke.

The Redondo Pier also provides Free community Events through the summer so check the Events calendar before you go. The next event is Sept 4th, Yoga on the Pier. Tips: Parking is meter right below the pier, there is street parking but you have to watch the signs and it’s a bit far from the pier.
