Viva Las Vegas #4: Brunch at Wicked Spoon

How do you solve the classic Vegas hangover? By drinking and eating of course! One of my favorite buffets in Vegas is Wicked Spoon at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. I love the décor, concept and the food at this place. Wicked Spoon concept is serving its food in “tapas” style dishes for example, Fried Chicken in a Frying Basket or Chinese Food in Take Out Boxes. I think it also service another purpose of minimizing food waste since the serving size is pre-set. The one negative about these cute little plates is you can only fit like 3-4 per trip. Prices are a little high about $36 or $48 that includes All You Can Drink mimosas.

Tips: Come here when you aren’t starving, wait time can range from 15 minutes to 1 hour depending on how busy the weekend is. Tapas are meant to be shared; this allows you to sample a lot more food. Hits: Shrimp Cocktails, Bacon, Prime Rib+Chimmichurri, Eggs Benedict, Mac and Cheese, Shrimp and Grits, Chocolate Covered Strawberry, Gelato. Miss: I would skip the Fried Chicken, Pizza and Asian section—just to try to get your money worth. There is also Omelet Bar if you feel like some eggs.
