Special Occasion Restaurant #: La Dolce Vita

La Dolce Vita has been the favorite destination of Hollywood elite, it has been said that the Rat Pack and Frank Sinatra both had booths here. The bf took me here on the crazist holiday of the year Valentine's Day. I thought it would be a nightmare but it was the complete opposite. The service and food were on par and they threw in a bottle of wine with our meal. You can't beat that! The menu is filled with Northern Italian favorites Tagliatelle Bolognese, Risotto, Pollo Parmiggiana (Chicken Parmesan), Linguini Di Mare (Seafood Pasta), just to name a few. All pasta is made in house and the ingredients are fresh. Prices are around $$$ - $$$$, you are paying for the ambience and location. The ambiance is classy and romantic, not too loud where you can’t hear yourself speak but not that quiet where you can hear a pin drop. Tips: Valet is available $8 or if you don’t mind walking, a parking garage with meters is nearby (free after 6); I would dress to impress, you never know who you are going to run into— you are in Beverly Hills.
